The Okinawa Karate Kaikan in Tomigusuku, near Naha Airport, is a large facility dedicated to the practice, education, and preservation of Okinawan karate. It serves both experienced practitioners and beginners, offering access to training, cultural learning, and research materials.

The 3.8-hectare complex includes a main dojo, several training rooms, meeting and seminar spaces, and a reference library. The center is equipped with shower facilities, a nursing station, a snack bar, and a shop selling karate gear. Trial classes are available for those new to karate.

The Kaikan also includes a government-supported public museum focused on the history and international development of Okinawan karate. It covers major styles, significant historical figures, traditional equipment, and the cultural background of the art.
